Following the new practices described in this
site can improve the roles of administrators in teacher supervision,
evaluation, and leadership. Improvement is in terms of better
power relationships and freed up time for administrators.
When teachers bring satisfactory data Forms to the evaluation process,
the administrator is freed up from the role of sole data gatherer
and summative judge. We have found that few teachers who furnish
sufficient credible data need the time-consuming processes of
